What is Paramotoring?

Paramotoring is powered paragliding — you wear a small backpack motor, launch on foot or via trike, and fly using a paraglider wing. The most accessible form of personal flight: no airport, no medical, no aircraft registration required for Part 103 ultralights.

  • FAA Part 103 ultralight — no pilot license required (still need proper training)
  • Top altitude: 18,000 ft · Top speed: 30-40 mph cruise
  • Texas weather flies year-round (sunrise/sunset windows)
  • Faster to learn than fixed-wing — most students solo in 7-10 training days
